Do you guys think I will have a problem with Ebaychat.com?

IMO, yes it would spell trouble unless you contact ebay and ask for their permission. If they say no, then there's nothing you can do about it.

By posting the domain name in question here and your intention to sell it, you
have practically given the eBay people ammunition to take the name away
from you.

You might have to fork it over and move on...unless you've the time, money,
and sincere belief the name is worth fighting for.

What kind of problem are you asking about? Just by owning it, it's not likely you'll get sued over it. Of course you might hear from eBay's lawyers one day requesting you stop using the name at which time you can simply turn over the name and situation is resolved. Do you consider that a problem?

eBay IS protective of their trademark and has even sent C&D letters to owners of domains that contain the word "bay" in them. Then again, eBay does have a very popular affiliate program, so maybe you or someone else could find a legitimate use for it.

I dont think you will have a problem, Ive owned quite a few ebay typos and never had any problem.

Just registering something like google1.com etc won't be a problem for google
There are alrady loaths of such names registered

i ageree, bad move. If someone gives you the choice to not have them use your name as if your going to say go ahead. ebay allready has a message board as crappy as it is if im not mistaken aswell.
