Okay, I'm not sure if this has ever been done before or if it's totally crazy! So, lemme know if I'm showing my ignorance! :tri:

I need to learn how to develop my new domains in such a way as to make them valuable not only as a domain name but also in the ppc department. My simple problem is I don't know how and I don't really have time to deal with the learning curve.

So, the deal/offer is this... is there anyone who would be interested in developing one of my domains, teaching me how it's done and in doing so reaping 60% of whatever the site generates in hits, clicks... whatever.

A couple things that come to mind real quick...

1. I'm going to want to know how it's done so please be patient, be communicative, and be prepaired for a boat load of questions. :bingo:

2. I'd be willing to make an agreement for 6 months, possibly longer if necessary.

3. I'd like a fairly simple site, not one of 80 pages! Yikes!

4. And, I won't transfer the domain to anyone.

Hmm... I think that's it...

Anyone see this as a HUGE mistake?!

I am not an expert I still learn new things every day but I would be more intrested in a 50/50 deal since I have only been doing this about a year and have still some to learn.

I will never under stand why folks want to take a domain park it some place like sedo and make a few cents in order to make any cash at all it has to be real popular, have one heck of a PR or both and more, i tired that stuff and made with 30 domains over two months about 50 bucks i took the same domains, and put something on them and in two months time was making over a 1000 a month so to me its a waste, they can keep all that.
as for me ill host it myself and make some real cash! To heck with sedo and the rest, all its doing is putting cash in there pockets.

Affiliate programs? Banner ads? by all means make a little something on them and get traffic coming to them.
does not have to be fancy the best advice in this business i ever heard was K.I.S.S.
keep it simple stupid, plain old html page that loads fast.

just with pages like this www.mortgages.net simular to what sedo or the others might have, although i do include my own search engine all with my links in it, and insead of making pennies and them getting the dollars i get all the change

Glad I ran into this thread. I have been wondering about this myself. Do just straight pages do better than whole sites as far as Google ads etc? I would pay as well for someone to help me out with this. I know there is more money to be made than a buck or two daily.

Actually, I'm on my own... yikes! :gl: I got a few PM's when I posted this thread but sadly, no follow through.

I just got DreamWeaver which is supposed to be better than the Frontpage for building websites. I'm excited at having better/easier software but ughh... I hate being at the bottom of a new learning curve!

All you really need is some simple one or two page sites, nothing hard just real simple with a little content and sponsers, heck call it a search engine and put a google search box on it if, you dont want to set up your own search engine.
