umm. I am reading an ebook on how to start a webhosting business but he never went over creating the actual website. Can I use the whcms script on the index of the site? Or is that a no-no? can it be the site? does any company do that?

WHMCS is a billing panel, not a website CMS. I'd recommend that you have a different website that acts as the front-end of your business and then use the WHMCS as a client/billing panel

Actually WhCMS is a content management system, though he could be trying to refer to WHMCS instead.

Reading and starting real business are 2 different things. I think once you get started you will open for yourself a lot of new things you never read about. ;)

Well, I think you can build a website using the WHCMS as base although it is actually a CRM created for web hosting providers.

Hello,

You can do that with WHMCS but it looks really, really un-professional. I believe that if you take any shortcuts your business will suffer as a result. It looks bad enough when people keep the portal page as it is let alone using it across the whole site.

Even spending $100 on a hosting template will make your business look much more professional.

Regards,
Jack
