Spaceship.com recently launched a new Marketplace section, and as NamePros has given me the go-head, I think the company deserves its own thread for NP domain marketplace users to converse in.

https://www.spaceship.com/sellerhub/

Personally speaking, I will be setting up a new Spaceship.com account this weekend and going to work investigating its various features, options and policies.

I sure with @Spaceship updated our Statistics more than one time a day. For me it's around 11PM ET.

I'm not going to display my whole portfolio, that's a worthless feature for me. But I could sometimes want to show a subset of it, for example all my .now or .si domains especially during investor frenzies.

Thank you!

Update to SellerHub🚀
You can now choose which domains appear in your Seller Portfolio.

Show all domains you have listed for sale, or switch to "Selected domains" and pick the ones you want to feature.

How it works:
→ Switch to "Selected domains" in SellerHub → Settings →…

@Spaceship

I've declined and accepted many offers, but it just occurred to me that it is far too easy to accidentally click/tap either option. I'd like there to be some kind of confirmation step.

I can see that we have received similar feedback. Thanks for the input - it has been passed to the team.

I fully agree with this, and to me, it would represent a valid reason to back out of a sale you never wanted to agree to in the first place.

SS needs to add an additional confirmation window so that it's crystal clear the offer acceptance is confirmed.

Hi everyone, hi @Spaceship ,

I know this must have been mentioned earlier, but I can't find it now, so I would much appreciate some practical guidance.

My country has strict financial controls in place to prevent money laundering, the financing of illicit activities, etc..

If and when I am requested by authorities to document the origin of the funds that I receive after a sale, which is the standard procedure at Spaceship? I already have the screenshots and the datasheet; is there anything else that I can request from you, @Spaceship, if it was deemed necessary by my bank's compliance office, for example?

Rest assured that I don't foresee any complication, but I like to organize ahead.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Several marketplaces are currently working on inclusion of multiple domains in a single custom checkout transaction. Is this possible already, or on the radar, at SellerHub?

We're working on this feature, and it will be released soon. Initially, we'll use SafePay, but the team will develop bundle options further.

This is good news, indeed, thanks @Spacehip!

Also, I would really welcome your comment on my earlier question. Thanks in advance.

Hey all,

Regarding the ‘Searches’ metric in the SellerHub stats. Would it be fair to assume that this is a record of when a domain has been returned in the search results, but it does not necessarily mean the searcher scrolled down and actually saw your domain listed there?...

Also, I find the performance of the Spaceship platform rather curious. Sometimes the pages load quickly and I think it’s very responsive. Other times you select a new page and the 3 dots spin forever but go nowhere and you have to refresh the page to kick it into gear again. There doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to it. And no, it’s not the qty of domains listed – this is a brand new account (created a week ago) with only 24 names listed for a bit of testing. Does anyone else have this happen?...

I hope someone confirms, because I don't understand it either. @Spaceship

This promo code has expired. We'll share here if we have a new promo code for transfers.

In the meantime, you can transfer your .com domains to Spaceship for $9.48 with our automatic promo pricing.

Any chance a last minute transfer code will be coming before the Nov 1 price increase?

In addition to the receipt/invoice and sale details available in SellerHub, we can also provide a payout document if needed. Please reach out to our Support team for more details.

Not at the moment, but we’ll share any news as soon as we have it.

Each platform offers a different perspective on buyer interest:
Spaceship tracks exact searches for your full domain name, helping you identify potential interest in that specific domain.
Namecheap also includes searches matching the second-level domain (SLD), giving you a broader view of interest in the keywords behind your domain.
As for the loading issues, please reach out to our Support team so we can take a closer look.

Hi @Spaceship
So... if I understand correctly, for a Search View to be added to the stats, this only occurs if:
- On Spaceship a Searcher types the complete domain name (SLD+TLD)
- On Namecheap the Searcher types the complete SLD
??
What about partial searches (I type 'Gamble', but the full SLD is 'Gambled') - would this log as a search View on Namecheap (if I owned Gambled.com)?
Furthermore, can you address this part of my original question please:
but it does not necessarily mean the searcher scrolled down and actually saw your domain listed there?...
I.e. Could a Search View be logged when a domain has been returned in the search results (but not necessarily seen by the Searcher - e.g. if there are 20 domains with the SLD 'Gamble') - or is it only logged once the user scrolls down and sees your particular domain in the list?

Thanks!

On Spaceship a Searcher types the complete domain name (SLD + TLD)

Yes, we count only exact SLD + TLD matches, so in your example we would count only Gambled.com.

On Namecheap the Searcher types the complete SLD

Correct. We count exact SLD matches. So if a user searches for “Gambled”, we count +1 search for every domain with that SLD regardless of the TLD: Gambled.com, Gambled.si and Gambled.ai.

What about partial searches?

Partial searches don’t count. The searcher needs to enter an exact match: the SLD on Namecheap, and the SLD + TLD on Spaceship. A partial match such as “Gamble” doesn’t count as +1 for Gambled.com.

Could a Search View be logged when a domain has been returned in the search results (but not necessarily seen by the Searcher — e.g. if there are 20 domains with the SLD “Gamble”) — or is it only logged once the user scrolls down and sees that particular domain in the list?

We don’t take into account whether the searcher scrolled down to the domain. If it was returned in the search results, it’s counted as +1 search for that domain.

Thank you for that info.

Can you explain the difference between these three columns?
