Hard to say without knowing the domain.
For a blog, a foundation or non-profit use .org could be fine.
For use in commerce, I would not use .org.
I like .net for dev projects too but I am old-fashioned.
As others have said difficult to answer in general. I think we will continue to see more use of .org in commercial sector. If there is any sense of a community of users for your product and the shorter term in .org is also more memorable, I would go with that.
Of course for a coding site you now have .dev as an additional option. Presuming a non-premium word so can buy and renew at standard. As a brand new extension there is more risk than .com or .org however, although early on a lot of developers and students seem to be using it for their own sites.
If it's related to programming I will go for the .org domain. You can also check the new .dev domains where it is most likely you will find some premium names available.
