Every now and then I will have a domain with metrics that will randomly spike.
In this instance it is Guac (d0t) |\|et.
All of the traffic seems to be coming out of Beijing and the surrounding areas.
As we all know China spam is rampant, so this could be a possibility.
Expiration is not near, and I haven't seen an increase in spam . I did the research, it is possible that there is an emerging guacamole market but I have seen no definitive evidence of that as of right now.
Your thoughts?

I answered my own question but will post to share the information... I used Moz and checked the backlinks and apparently I have a lot of links coming from South Korea that are supposed to be pointing to "Gyeongsang National University Alpine Club". I stopped the research there, I guess they own a similar domain and whoever was posting the links got the extension wrong.
It could be a few other things or reasons behind it, but at least I know where the traffic is coming from.
