I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

I just sold boarding .now (8499 euros) through Sedo.

This is a good example of when a .now domain works really well. The .com version is used for dog boarding.

Note: the buyer also passed on the exact match .com, which showed a lower asking price.

In my opinion, this is because the shorter (non mashup version) is shorter and reads more clearly. This isn't to suggest buyers will never take the exact match mashup in .com in combination or instead, but does show some buyers prefer short, readable across the dot names, to the mashup version.

It's also possible (I'm not saying probable) that they only checked the landing page (sedoparking ns) which is blank with many ad blockers.

100%. Obv we cannot know exactly what path the buyer took when buying this name. Perhaps they specifically wanted only .now. Perhaps they looked at the em lander and thought it wasn't for sale. On the other hand, perhaps they typed boardingnow .com into the reg path of certain registrars and see it shows for sale as "make offer"?

Also, did they also peruse and reject the myriad other exact match legacy, gTLDs, and ccTLDs for sale?

We'll never exactly know. However, if someone truly wanted the em com mashup, it is for sale, and there are ways to identify that. None of which required a lot of effort on my part.

One of the reasons could be that Atom makes it easier for sellers to report to NameBio on their behalf.

Well, I "happen to" know of one 7.5k EUR .now sale on Sedo that was unreported because the buyer requested it. But I didn't know that there are so few sales or at least reported sales.

.now is so underrated currently. It brands better than all the other tlds atm from an availability standpoint imo
