Has the Net been really slow today, or is it just me? Sites have been loading really slow on my Cox internet connection (Missouri).

Hope it gets a bit more stable for you.

It's been actually working decently here today.

I generally get several periods of thirty minutes or so a day whereupon I cannot access the internet.

Normally if I get an outage, I unplug the cable modem from the outlet a minute then plug it back in and it seems to reset.. today, that didn't seem to work, at least not as quickly. Got pretty frustrating!

I pay good money for the "Premium" package.. you'd expect less down-time.

In actual reality, just because your paying extra for the "premium" service doesn't mean your going to get less downtime. When I looked at Cox's website the only difference I could find between the "premium" service and the other service is that you get a faster connection and pay more.

The word premium to the big ISPs merely means they get to charge you more.

Yeah.. and I'm not even so sure it's any faster.. I've yet to get close to the suggested speeds.
