IDNs had a good run for a few years.
These days even one character Chinese names don't pull any money.
It was fun to watch Wot sell his Chinese for a good yen. But those days came and went. The world went the other way.
DNF banned them, even though DNF Owner Adam Dicker at one point owned 2,500 of them.

IDNF.org has only 4 visitors who just trade sad stories, and no domains.
Thew biggest proponent of IDN, Rubber Duck from England, had to run away from the creditors as far away as Czechoslovakia. At one point he amassed 8,000 names. There are rumours of him shepherding sheep in the mountains.
Steve C. from Canada was hospitalized after a suicide attempt. He's out of $30G.
Mulligan, another huge investor from Singapore, reverted to hacking.
