web directory would prob. be the easiest, and have the most ad revenue potential, forum would take more work to get people registered and start posting etc...

What is a web directrory? would a small grahics site be easy to set up like all myspace layouts? how about a video site or a games sites s there what im into at the moment.

If you are looking for adsense revenue then go for articles site or MySpace layouts site.

If you are looking for direct deposits in paypal. Then dating, scripts, softwares, domain reselling and hosting can be used.

If you are thinking to raise the money from link sales then Directory, blogs and forums.

If you are thinking to raise the money from selling other people's products then clickbank or CJ and many other affiliate programs.

If you want to earn money by developing sites of others then a personal portfolio on your own site.

If you want to sell ringtones and wallpapers for mobiles then mobilemoney or mediaplazza.

Humm.... I think this will be enough.

Yeah that has helped, at the moment im interested in setting up a small myspace layout site with other things like pictures and codes which you can use. im also looking into starting a small piczo related site where people can get pictures and layouts which will fancy up there site. does anyone have any advice on these or no somewhere were i could get a free script for the sites?

I don't think you can get much from a site of you care for income so much. You need to develop a good site, something new is better. A forum is easy to setup but difficult to maintain, a web directory don't make sense if it's not well known. How can you get people come and register if they couldn't find your site on search engines? Another idea for first-time website is blog. But remember to focus on specific area/topics
