This company is sending me a promo via DM. They state that they have partnered with @NamePros for this.

Not appreciated.
Apologies. We believe it's a solid offer for a limited number of valuable members like yourself.

Simply reply "not interested" or Mute the conversation to not be bothered again.

We appreciate your feedback.

Typically how spammers operate. It should be opt-in, not opt-out.

I have never seen it in my long history on NamePros.
I was curious and checked. You haven't qualified for all of them, but you did qualify for one by Verisign in 2021.

You should still have the email in your mailbox if you didn't delete it. Around June.

We'll do our best to not send these offers to anyone who doesn't want them.

Then why is there not an option for this (preferably opt-in) in account preferences?

Until we have that, we'll have to do it manually.

Let stop the nonsense here. I never agreed that anyone can send me SPAM DM!!!

We wouldn't do that. It's very rare; you just happened to qualify for this one.

We've added you to the exclusion list so you're all set moving forward. :)

I could be wrong, but I had a strong feeling before that your absence was because of the increase in AI posts and a lack of action being taken to address them, and a bit of a disagreement with the admins? If so, I hope this doesn't push you further away.

Just know there are lots of us who appreciate your efforts and the huge amount of time & help you give other domainers.

Like @URL Stream said, there was definitely a huge gap when you weren't here.

Future Sensors knows how much NamePros moderators and admins adore him, even if there are disagreements at times. Those disagreements tend to be productive and lead to improvements.

I'm in their Domainer Club, and didn't receive the offer, so I appreciate that your filtering must have worked for me at least. :)

I'll try and be diplomatic here and say that maybe @Bravo Mod Team is open to feedback, but just didn't like yours. There's a difference, but I'm not sure that will make you feel better!
For what it's worth, I think DM's should be completely off-limits for promotions. I probably wouldn't mind receiving a promotional email once in a blue moon (after all, my inbox is full of similar messages anyway), but it should be clearly marked as a NamePros paid promotional email and shouldn't touch DM's. IMHO

The last day is Thursday, so you may receive it by then, but we'll see!

Note: 99% of members were excluded from this offer based solely on it being offered to a limited number of members.

No, neither company shared clients' data.
The point being made by @URL Stream is valid.

Basically, how would NamePros possibly know who is already in the "UD Domainer Club" without the sharing of data one way or the other?
