Years ago, I used to be an Epik customer. Not something I really like to admit, but it's true. Then... the wheels came off (to put it incredibly mildly).

Anyway, I noticed this news today "Registered Agents applies for six top level domains, starts RSP". Not something I expected. I guess they are certainly serious about expanding the business. I will still never understand why they kept the Epik brand (since that name had been dragged through the mud), but perhaps the 'new Epik' is here to stay.

Interesting that they didn't apply for .epik. Though in fairness, what would be the point?

.EPIC has at least one other publicly confirmed application. Also, who knows if Epic Games applied.
If so, I would expect them to end up with it. They have deeper pockets than anyone else.

I agree. I would say it's one of the biggest business blunders, at least in the domain space. Many domain insiders won't use Epik because of its history. They would have had to use a new interface because most people in the domain space know that dashboard. I heard that they said domain investor were no longer their target market, but I have to think they could have purchased a lesser-known registrar for less (and I have no idea what they paid)
