The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
lmao youre butthurt because you didnt get a full refund for canceling a domain... You do realize that register have to pay out of pocket for the cancellation.

Youre the biggest SCAM here.

They are my favourite registrar and are quite clear on refunds, or lack of....

"We do not do refunds, but if the domain name is less than 5 days old, you may be able to request a grace period deletion for a Dynadot account credit. Your "refund" will be the domain's registration cost minus the applicable grace deletion fee stated on our grace deletion page."

Refund policy below....

Most registrars will not refund at all. I know some will only give you "credit" which you can use on other names.

Try and get out of the habit of buying names you arent sure you want, this will start hurting your pocket if you stay in this game.

Good luck

I think a mod should change the title... it's not fair to Dynadot.

Right on their main menu, under Domains, among various headings like Search, Transfer, Privacy, etc., one is "Grace Deletion" and it takes you to this page:
https://www.dynadot.com/domain/grace_deletion.html

And it tells you the fees right there, linked from their main menu. Even with the fees, a lot of domain extensions like .com, .net, .org .co, etc. are already near their maximum of 10% (10% of new registrations being cancelled for the partial refunds).

I do have a gripe about Dynadot in the past not properly listing the percentages of deletions (which cost me like a bit, because I couldn't later cancel a couple of registrations), but they eventually fixed it.

The difference between Dynadot and the other registrars you mentioned is that people seem to purposely use Dynadot for domain tasting (and Dynadot seems to target "domain tasters" as well)... so they charge the fees.

Pay attention your words and have some basic manner Steven!

Can you read what I've just wrote?!

Porkbun, Namecheap, Namesilo did full refund.

Dynadot wants to cut half of the money without giving any reason. Because there is no proper reason.

Read the first message hundred times until your little useless brain understand it completely.
Only need to read it once till I realize you’re bashing Dynadot for no reason...
