Note that Dating.com sold for USD1.75m in 2010 as I recall.
The comparison to .com is irrelevant.Note that Dating.com sold for USD1.75m in 2010 as I recall.
Its a good point as yes, it is a Premium .tv Domain Name. But in the right hands or company, it could do very well and generate good income so the renewal fee would be small in the bigger picture. I also have AdultMates.com that I registered back in 2001 when I was in Australia. ( G´day mate !! ) Aussies use mate in every sentence lol AdultMates was to be a spin on AdultFriendfinder but was never developed.Premium renewal will drag down some of the ability to resell.

$15k will be a fair value. But I won't be surprised if you get $70k on this gem. Similar .tv names have sold for around that figure in recent time
What similar names have sold for close to 70k?

The problem I see is the relationship between the name and the TLD. I mean, is there a market for dating services using a TV? It sounds rather inconvenient when compared to the alternatives. I think that, while on the surface it looks like a great domain, you may be hard-pressed to find that buyer at the XX,XXX range. Such a buyer would have to have the resources to develop it into what it is supposed to be and a good, solid plan to make it profitable, and I don't see .TV working in this case. JMHO.

No idea on the value because i'm not familiar with .tv but just chiming in, because today i was at the gym and on the tv an informercial was running with the url of ubox.tv. They own the ubox.com version but chose the .tv version for their informational. I thought that was interesting.
