The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
do premium .network names have grace deletion period?

ask the registry, tell them that was a mistake on your side like you had misspelled the name or something...

did you pay with a credit card? contact your bank, ask them to reverse the payment if possible

...everyone makes mistakes after all

imho

Grace delete is an honorable way out, and legitimate.

Claiming it was a misspelling is like a loser's defense strategy at trial ("the cocaine in my pocket wasn't mine") and is a scammer's strategy. Won't work anyway, you are responsible for misspellings, and that's what grace delete is for.

Credit card chargeback is also a scammer's strategy.

Don't listen to anyone who proposes scammer's strategies. People who do things like that are ones to whom I'd never want to sell anything.

Take the high road.

Try to see if you can give them a call, and try to speak someone. If it takes 2 days to return an email you might lose valuable time.
thanks for your valuable advice!(y)

Check the TOS / refund policy and ask for the money back on a grace delete.

If the terms allow it and they don't respond, try contact your credit card company to see if they can help.

That looks more like a $XXX domain, even for an end user.

you only regged it today..

gd has rules to offer refunds which many used before. I think its max 5 days. however I am not sure how they apply to big sum buys of ngtlds

maybe @Joe Styler can briefly clarify for all. ty.

it’s complicated because it’s a registry premium domain, I think grace delete does not apply to gtld premiums from what I remember from dynadot.

From what I am seeing you should be able to call us, cancel the domain and get a refund. I would do it quickly. Support will know 100% once they are actually inside your account. If you want help spending $5k on some better names let me know ;)
