My logic is derived from the term 'Criminal Law'

it's not logical to reverse the terms and think they are applicable, in the same sense.

imo...

Then by that logic, what of the term criminal law since how can it be 'law' if it's 'criminal'

Not emotionally invested into this domain as I know it's a learning process, I'll refund if need be. + I respect your experience.

But do you see the logic in it being slightly informal?
Maybe not the best choice for a professional legal company, maybe the end-users could be criminal TV shows highlighting unbelievable antics of criminals or a website dedicated to showcasing the most notorious crimes in history
