I found a dictionary word pending delete enging in .net , and I found it using namejet.. When it becomes available , should I pay 69$ from namejet or the domain will go in auction ??
If nobody bids can I be able to register it with regular fee?
And how much can it be worth a dictionary word ending with .net .... .com word was sold in 2011 for 588$ , but you know that was way back and I think I can make some bucks from it.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
There is no guarantee that the domain will expire and that you can get it for regfee (the regular fee), if you choose not to participate in the auction that is offered by Namejet, because it may be snapped up the moment it becomes available by another drop catcher who believes the name is worth registering.

Unfortunately no one can really give you advice on the strategy to take to get the name, or what the worth of the name would be without seeing the domain. Even if you did let us know the name, it's impossible to determine it's worth, chances are that we couldn't determine it's worth. In most cases the worth of a domain is really in the eye of the beholder, unless it is undoubtedly a premium name - and as you've indicated it's in the .net extension, so chances are it's not premium.

The fact that the name has already sold in the past for $588 is a good sign though.

Good luck.
