Can a registrar refuse a refund request, or close your account etc if you request too many refunds on domains?

I'm assuming that they can't refuse a refund due to basic statutory rights, but could they close your account?

I think there alot of people who reg domains and assess the parking potential etc on it, if no good then delete the name within the grace period, ive not heard of anyone account being closed because of this

Most extensions have a 10% refund policy. So if the registrar has a million domains then they can only grace delete 100,000 of them. Registrar can't do unlimited deletes for credit so doubt they would let a customer do unlimited deletes and credit them. Depends if they look at deletes on an individual account basis or share the 10% pool letting someone do more deletes if the majority of users aren't doing them or if they enforce 10% on each individual account. Might be one advantage of using a more end user type registrar as they aren't deleting as many domains as a domainer type registrar would be doing if looking to seriously delete domains on a regular basis. Here's an example of a pro tasting registrar that actually tells ya where they stand on delete percentages but they also include a deletion fee...

So in that example plenty of room for .com deletes but .net not so much.

I own my decisions I don't go back to stores ask for refunds or get refunds for domains. I can also say i have made money on domains that regretted buying next day.

Respect your opinion, but that wasn't my question - I asked it for a very specific reason.

If you have a real propblem and you havent't been much of a problem the customer service level would be higher. Eg VIP Godaddy may not occur if every other day chargebacks.
