Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

NameSilo
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

PuzzlesVR
Nice, but assuming PuzzleVR (without the 's') was available, would you have reg'd it instead of PuzzlesVR? Or would you have reg'd both of them?

I get a little bit confused about this when trying to reg keywords that can be in plural form.

Question....

How to value your VR domain??

Obviously the final price of any domain is whatever the buyer and seller are happy with and agree on...

But, i'm curious if using the non-VR term with Estibot is a fair way to gauge the price of a VR domain?

ie: If "tour" for instance... was valued at $10,000 by Estibot... could one assume that "VRtour" was worth a similar amount?

Personally I don't think so..... I think that it's pretty much like comparing apples to oranges, but I was wondering what the rest of the thread thought?

no way to value.. best you can do is seperate high end keywords.. from the rest.. being average/decent. this is not so hard to do once you get hang of things a bit.

yoru best bet is to check VR sales history so far.. public and private (np is good for latter)..
that gives you past values.. through time.. and current ones.. and then you have the future.. which imo is only one way.. up.. but you can probably ask a VR naysayer somewhere and he'll of course say the opposite. lucky us, this fine vr showcase thread only features a couple of naysayers.

cheers.

Perfect name for a Boxing/MMA game etc! Was it hand regged or caught on the drop?

yep
that's pretty much the idea

its a fresh reg.. today's .. from expired .com lists

I don't reg outside of those anymore.. not much point.. but I'd be lying if I said there isn't dropping VR domains that are worth regfee... now and then.

Nice name.
As you well know there are already surgeons who use systems of augmented, mixed or virtual reality to operate their patients. I have invested in this name that I believe will also have a lot of weight inside the world of VR. Good luck.
