The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I think Uniregistry / Unimarket is the best

Clean, slick landing page,
Super easy to be contacted on, and as soon as you receive an offer you'll get an email from them within seconds
Well presented, and super easy to set up on there
And most traffic received through their marketplace too

And founded by the father of domaining, Frank Schilling the man himself

Only the quality of domains leads to more enduser sales...

Free sale form (with autoredirect option) is provided by Bodis.

I've done my own sales pages and Bodis sales pages without any ads on them and both have produced results.

Currently using Uniregistry PPC pages with the sales link redirecting to my own sites sales page for each specific domain. Using Uniregistry due to the sales link being very noticeable at the top of the page and allowing me to redirect each sales link to the domain specific sales page for each domain on my site instead of just allowing a bulk 1 link for all redirection.

To be honest you will have to see what works best for your names by trying multiple ones out. For me I use bodis they treat me good.

Hi

that's a two part question and one place may not be the answer, especially for all or every name.

out of all the mp's (marketplaces) that offer both parking and sales, i've sold more names thru sedo.... simply because they've been an initial provider of both services for a longer period than some others..

also have sold names via unireg, fabulous, namedrive and received inquires from bodis, parkingcrew and voodoo.

still, it is important to note that:
the usage of and inquiries from "whois" searches, have yielded a relative percentage of sales as well, and any weekly inquires for random names typically come from that source.

when it comes to parking and ppc earnings, then there's a two-sided coin to that too.... in respect to "selling a domain name".

from the premise of:

the more the name makes in ppc, the more value it has.
therefore, since it earns income, it's now a domain that "you don't have to sell"

of course that depends on variables such as how many other names you have and how much income that and your other names earn.

when you're operating in that frame, then the next premise begins:

the more names i have that earn ppc
then, the less names i have to sell, to sustain, in domaining.

then from there, it's an ongoing attempt to utilize every ppc service for each name or category of names, until you feel comfortable with their productivity at those respective services.

now from that point....

you got some names generating ppc and typically if/when you start earning,
then somebody else starts yearning for your names.

that's when the offers come in and you're in a better position to:

1.know value of your holdings
2. negotiate
3. walk away

so, to kinda sum it up

selling names frequently, is nice, if you can keep it going to sustain your model.

but earning money from them and not having to sell them, or not having to liquidate or undersell or sell too soon, is even better.

imo....

Many of my names are registered thru epik and they have a commission free marketplace...both voodoo and parking crew allow you have the inquiry link go to your landing page at epik where a interested party can either buy or lease your name.

The ideal scenario is having your own site dedicated to sales...there you can have your own details about the name listed along with its attributes.

I find the best place to park is on my homepage. For some domains I will make a special landing page as well. I have a few at Uniregistry and all I get is low ball offers. On my site when I make contact my selling instincts kick in. If someone really wants one of my domains a long phone call no bull meaningful conversation makes the sale. Show the client previous sales, give them added bonuses like pre-designed logos, and if necessary offer payment plans.

AND ABOVE ALL....... ANSWER EVERY CLIENT...... too many domainers quote a price and never talk to the client again. I have 4 friends in the business and they could not close a deal if their life depended on it. One of them said he quoted 10k and the guy walked. I helped him out and closed the guy at 12k with a free logo package with a cost of $599.
