(Sorry for any english mistakes)

So i saw premium domain listed on name.com
The domain itself worth like 400$, premium one single keyword
But listed as only "45$" with buy it now button.
Name.com saying it can take upto 5 days to transfer it.
I am 100% sure that this price is a mistake, any way my order status is 'successful'. am i lucky or the seller can still cancel it and return my money?
This domain have active website on it.

you do get lucky once in a while

Are you sure it wasn't an IDN? Also who is saying it is worth $400?

Yes it is possible you got lucky, you will just have to wait the five days. And be prepared if it's not the deal you were hoping for, more often than not it's a mistake. If it is wrong, you will get a refund, just may take a few days.

Good Luck!

How have you decided that the real cost of the domain is $400?

@usernamex makes a very good point. Unfortunately, people sometimes purchase IDNs through our marketplace thinking they've found the deal of a lifetime. May be worth a second look.

I don't fully understand the IDN thing. How would I know if a domain was IDN?
Would I only know after I bought it or checked somewhere? They look normal in english? I am confused. lol

premium one single keyword

Welcome to NP

If its a premium single word name, its worth a lot more than $400.. I would be very careful what you are buying..good luck

You have to do some detective work - first COPY and PASTE the name and plug it into a punycode converter - this is the one I use https://www.punycoder.com/

For example here is micrοsoft.com - that looks real right? OK so copy and paste from the box below and put it into the TEXT box on punycoder and "Convert to Punycode" and see what you get

Code:
micrοsoft.com

If it's IDN, it will show you the punycode which always starts with "xn--" The example I just gave is super sneaky because I replaced the first "O" in microsoft with the Greek Letter Omicron which appears identical to the Latin Letter O

There are other examples where it's a bit more obvious it's using a foreign character like ï is the letter I with umlaut so if you saw mïcrosoft.com it would be more obvious but still tricky and it can also depend on the font, some visually look more sneaky than others.

Code:
mïcrosoft.com

You can also search a whois that displays punycode(not all do) using the COPY and PASTE method - gwhois.org is a good one

Code:
https://gwhois.org/micrοsoft.com

Hope @DrNew will find this useful too, kinda got carried away : oops :

I didn't realize this thing before, the domain that I see most in GG analytics is ɢoogle.com (Not the letter G, it's the symble 'ɢ')
