What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

russian domainer purchased sberbank.online from chinese domainer. sberbank is a big enduser, and Chinese domainer said his parking traffic of sberbank.online is very high.
Do you know the final price for this deal please?

will you be renewing your LLL.online domains ?
I did.

Planning to drop 1000+ of my LLL's unless there's a good transfer deal somewhere.

LLL's certainly have value, but with Radix charging an arm and a leg to renew or transfer them, and hounding registrars that give too good a deal, no one even wants to buy them for $2 each. With $30+ renewals being the norm, Radix is blatantly telling us that they don't even WANT large portfolios renewed..... they're perfectly ok with the constant churn of .online's being registered, dropped, registered, dropped. Not a good way to run a registry!

Well can't be a good thing if domainers hold 100 plus LLL.online so maybe they have the price about right.

The ONLY difference is now 99% will be in the hands of chinese domainers, as they're the only ones being allowed to play the game with pennies. Once in the hands of chinese domainers, they will for the most part stay there, renewed for many years at a tiny fraction of the cost a US domainer would have to pay.

At least I'm getting many of these into the hands of actual end users for incredibly fair prices...

Long story short, pushing all these LLL into the hands of chinese domainers is VERY BAD for the extension, but as things stand there's simply no way around it. No one else can compete.

how about transfering your LLL.online to west.cn ? only about $2 . don't use west.xyz .

It just doesn't seem feasible to me to use west.cn from the U.S.
I refuse to use a registrar where I need to translate everything myself.

Someone else can try that if they feel like getting some cheap LLL....... maybe it'll work (I know west.xyz doesn't). Me, I'll pass. I've been transferring some of my favorites for $25 (NetSol) or even $30 (GD) so I know they're safe and secure in a usable site (less so for NetSol but even they are miles ahead of west).

I did a check on transferring .online domains to west.cn, but the price is the same as for west.xyz. Apparently they can only offer the $2 offer for domains that are transferred between Chinese registrars.

that is bad, i suggested radix to set a cheap price . it is unfair .

Radix will probably take all the LLL's that drop and make them all premium.

.online is a good extension. $30 for transfering and renewal will kill it.

I was able to register a dropped 3L like a week ago, but yes most of the nice ones are being auto-reserved by Radix and some are being grabbed by Chinese registrar who is using script (I have no proof but Im dead sure).

as i know, www.pheenix.com support new gtlds backorder service, u can find .online .xyz .club ...backerborder there,
but the price is too high $60 , in China, the backorder .online price is around $6 , but good dropped .online always more than 1 domainer backorder it, they need to bid it after dropcatch( like godaddy ).

Have some LLL I will be willing to sell for peanuts. They are expiring soon

Its ridiculous how expensive the renewal is for .online. I have about 50-100 keyword domains expiring and there is just no way to keep them right now at $50 per renewal. Guess its time for me to pick my favorites. I've been seeing a decent amount of traffic to Reiseangebote.Online (Travel deals in german) so I will probably keep that one around

Same here, time to drop the majority... just too expensive to keep too many.
