In light of voice search technology, domain names containing phrases are becoming popular. These voice search devices recognizes phrases such as.. dot/ com/security but won't recognize acronyms, or typos (unless you pay for that) In fact, some domain names that enjoyed high search volumes, and high purchase prices may even be at risk of losing luster due to voice search technology. We are living in a "Mobile World" with less "Type in" traffic occuring year over year. So voice search brandable domain names should do well. Which brings me to a question.. when using voice search, will I say "Security" or, will I say what kind of Security (two or more words) phrases like "dot-com"

Taking into account the similar namebio sales, are there any different opinions?

Thank you guys for your inputs. Just to make it clear why i got this one, let me quote similar namebio sales:
Doesn't mean your name has a chance of selling.
5 reported sales in a decade is not a lot, statistically speaking. Many sales are oddities.
'dotcom' in domain names is so 1996.

Ok, voice search technology is already being advertised on tv, and radio in large measure, and people in the know, already know that "type-ins"; typos; and some one word domain name searches are becoming obsolete, with the exception of trademarks, and copywritten domains, we could do type-in searches while the rest of the developed world do voice search, so type-in domain names will became increasingly inappropriate from a mobile commercial standpoint and domain name "phrases" are evermore popular. Then with "big tech" developing their own versions of voice search apps; chips, and softwares.
How would one know if they say "dotcom" in these new gadgets, It will read ".com" and not "dotcom"?
What about those new gadgets to come? You know. The ones still in the pipeline, will they simply follow existing voice search technology, or will they find their own niche? will the technology be faster, more accurate? Then How will voice search differentiate between.. toys; toys.com; toysdotcom, toysdotcom.us, and toysdotcom.com? Remember, "dotcom" is in the dictionary, and dictionary words are what's being used in voice search. Then how sure are we that when we say the word toys the voice search results won't be a dictionary definition of the word toys? or will we say toys dotcom, in which case how will voice search differentiate between
(.com) and dotcom.com
I used the word "toys" only as a example.

DotcomSecure.com: A 12 letter domain name consisting of an industry word and an adjective, was used to redirect (301) to a hosting company as late as December 2014 and had a delete status as early January 5, 2017. Somewhat brandable, its value estimate: between $80 ~ $888.00 (which is the same cost to register 'dotcomsecurity.com' on NameCheap.com.

Weatherdotcom.com: A 13 letter domain name consisting of a noun and an industry word is a redundant search phrase which I would grade much lower than dotcomsecure.com. In this situation. the order of the words does affect the result.

Maybe in the future this DN will have the effect you suggested in your post.

Regards,
