Just an FYI: Lately the newsletters have been coming with many of the logos Xed out (not available).

Sometimes if I click the link on the newsletter, the logo does not appear on the website either, but all other graphics do. If I do a CTRL-Refresh in my browser a few times then the logo normally shows up

Normally it is a small percentage that don't show up, but in this last newsletter the majority of the logos do not appear on my side in the email.

Don't believe this is on my side as I have had no other issues with internet connectivity, so I thought I would mention it as others may be receiving the same.
Same on the website. If I refresh the page it clears itself but it's like the page is loading to slow to cope with all of the images on the first attempt.
I was an active member of BrandBucket, I listed names at BrandBucket, I sold names at BrandBucket, and I removed my names from BrandBucket. Yes, I have experienced BrandBucket for myself.
You left almost 2 and half years ago and have no experience of BrandBucket as it is today, which is a shame. Good luck with your new venture.

Hi MIchael. What email platform are you using?

Same on the website. If I refresh the page it clears itself but it's like the page is loading to slow to cope with all of the images on the first attempt.

Does this occur on all browsers?

Outlook 2016

Problem viewing the logos in outlook, and in browser (option to view in browser if not displayed correctly)

Normally it is just a 1-10 logos that don't show up but this newsletter only has a couple showing.

I can not currently find a link by quickly looking where the logo does not display on the BB page... If I get a chance I will run down the list and try to find one to take a screen shot of.

Here is what it looks like in Outlook.

Here is what it looks like in IE view from the local file from outlook.

Update: The "view on the web" link in the email does work just fine. Just not in outlook or if you click "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in the browser." in the outlook toolbar.

Could the problem possibly be that I am opening at peak time when everyone is all trying to pull down all the logos at the same time? (server lag and timeout?)

Could be just me, but thought I would post if others noticed the same thing then it may be an issue.

That timing shouldn't be an issue. So the screenshots are when you go to the newsletter right now?

When I just opened it right now, it is coming up with all the logos. But that screen shot above was from just a few minutes ago and the logos were missing (and had been since the email came in).

Go figure!

Guess you can disregard this... Must be some glitch on my end if no one else is having the issue.

Really :-o, guess you it was your lucky day. I think I need to keep an eye on this type clearance sale as I have way to determine which has higher brandablity and fast turn overs

Just had a BB sale this morning on a domain that was gonna expire 4-29-16 (few days ago)

I can only assume the buyer knew the expiration date, and once the 4-29-16 turned into 4-29-17..... SOLD!

Cheers!

Would you say keyword domains are the best way to go with BrandBucket generally? I have been playing about with BrandBucket for a little while, but want to start moving forward. I was hoping experienced sellers might be able to say how things sit with BB as of 2016. Two word domains focused around tech, media, or fashion seem the best sellers as of now?

I think that is a good place to start.

Although, I was new to BB, but I had terrible experience with them. I submitted around 30+ domain names but they rejected all of them. I clearly don't understand their selection criteria.

I believe, all not, but few of those domain names were much better than what they have listed for sale. So I gave up and moved to BrandRoot.

When did BR accepted your join request?

Can you list a few of your rejected BB domains so we can try to understand why they were rejected?

Few of them are following:
Filry.com
Blior.com
Cruct.com
ResaleMesh.com
EatYea.com

I also submitted some .io domain names. They claimed to accept non keywords domain names but there is no further explanation.

I can see why they rejected these.
Companies would probably not want to build a brand around these names.
That is my honest feedback.

May be I understood their selection criteria wrong! But are not they selling brandable names? Most of their listings are non keywords.

According to BB, a brandable name is a name that is unique, easy to spell, easy to pronounce, needs to be short, the name should have a linguistic connection and the name should be broad so it can apply to many industries. Most importantly the name needs to sound right.
