Right now one of my domain generate €2+. If my domain will generate more than €100 a month, how much am i able to sell that domain? Is there anyone who can tell me.
Revenue domains, depending on the type, sell for a multiple of 12 months to 48 months, with 24 months being most common for a decent domain/portfolio.
The more reliable the revenue, the closer to 48x monthly revenue it can be sold. (Ex. Typos)
If it's unreliable revenue, then it'll be closer to 12x monthly revenue. (Ex. Previously developed domains)
The domain also needs to have a long history (around 12 months) of earnings at that monthly revenue before a multiple can be applied to it, which is part of the reliability equation.
If the domain doesn't have a long history of earnings, then expect a multiple closer to 3-6 months.
nice domains are a dime a dozen, in the owners mind.
what counts, are clicks, epc and the actual domain name.
i've sold income producing names for 2yrs rev to 20 yrs revenue, but it always depends on the actual name and of course, how much it earns and how long the name has been producing revenue.
for a domain earning $100 a month, i'd be asking a minimum of 5yrs or $6K, but that may not include value of the domain, as is.
