Hey there guys

I have one quick question re the above thanks if anyone has any views. If you are buying a Geo+Profession .com domain is it preferable to have it singular or plural? For example is londondentist.com better than londondentists.com - or is there not a lot in it?

thanks :)

thanks for the reply - say only londondentists.com was available though. is that as valuable as the singular or not worth bothering with?

i'm sure the person searching, would like to see results for more than 1 dentist.

wouldn't you?

imo...

If your goal is to sell it to one of the dentists in London, LondonDentist.com is much better imo, LondonDentists.com looks like a domain for a website with a directory (or I don't know how to call it) of all the dentists in London, LondonDentist.com would make the dentist who buy it "the official dentist of London". You know what I mean?

thanks guys - thats what i was thinking which made me wonder. i guess it goes down to who you would be trying to sell it too or develop it into. the plural lends itself more to a directory whereas the singular is better for an individual business. i just wondered if there was any generally accepted feeling if one was more valuable than the other but I spose its what you do with it that counts. didn't want to buy the plural for example and find out that being plural killed it and ppl only brought the singular usually.

Singulars usually have a higher purchase intention than plurals.

You can also look at google suggest and see who arrives the first. In general, it's an indication of the demand
