Hello,

Please help me !

I have a domain name transaction ($xx,xxx) and I'm seller.
The current registrar of the domain is Namecheap. (I transfered from Godaddy last month).

It's my first sales. So I don't know how to sell safely.
I want to using Escrow.com because the fee is slow. I made a transaction on Escrow.com and waiting payment from Buyer.

Refer: https://www.escrow.com/services/domain-and-website-escrow/how-domain-escrow-works.aspx

However, I have some question:

1/ How to setup push function at Escrow.com instead of transfer (because less than 60 days)?

2/ After I push domain to Buyer account, then she change Info and make a complaint with Escrow.com about I'm scammer. How to secure my domain in this case?

Please help me in detail !

Thanks.

3% if the sale is external and 15% something if through sedo, right?

I'm parking at Sedo.

However, I using Escrow.com to transfer domain name. So the fee is cheaper ($162.50 + 0.26% of amount over $5000)

The service of Escrow is very slow.

The buyer accepted merchandise (confirmed with Escrow) 3 days ago.

However, at this time, the transaction status is still "IES reviews terms".
I emailed with support, He said: "will notify our financial department regarding the status of this transaction" 1 day ago. But at this time, the transaction status is not changed.

Who are as me?

It is law - they have to hold funds for 3 business days

If the buyer pays by credit card or paypal, which shouldn't be the case here since the payment is $xx,xxx, they take 3 working days to disburse funds.

If the buyer pays by wire, the funds should typically be disbursed on the same day or the next one.

Congrats on the sale, don't forget to report it.

Buyer pays by wire transfers.

Buyer can not use credit card or paypal if more than $5K

A huge congratulations to you!

Escrow.com has never failed me or anyone I've known or read about. The holiday may be delaying things.

Please keep us posted and let us know what the domain you sold was! It helps everyone in the industry.
Also dont forget to inform Ron Jackson of DNJournal.com if you want your sale listed in his weekly column. http://dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

My only concern is that hopefully, escrow.com will include Nigeria in their list of accepted countries due to new ownership as PayPal, MasterCard and Visacard has taken a step in that direction in recent times, with PayPal being the latest entrant.

Congrats to the seller. Yeah... 5 figures is my next target.

wow wow wow... Thanks so much. I never thought you will take me serious like many others have done considering being a Nigerian.

I have had lots of cases where I need secured means of receiving funds for domain sold, but escrow.com surprisingly does not have Nigeria on their list.

Thanks ones again for this. I will write a detailed email soon to the address you gave as I am currently on mobile.
