The LLLL.com sales and discussion thread

Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

LLLL.coms ... let them expire?

Hey folks,

Been a long time since I've been on here... several years or so.

I bought a bunch of lllls in 2007. Got a bunch expiring this weekend. Is it worth it to renew? What's the economy these days on these things? What should I do? Here's a small list of what I have.

Don't see a future in these, as they are all low quality letters. Ask yourself - 'how much would 'you pay' someone else for these names?' My advice - cut your losses.

Maybe someone would buy them in bulk for a very low price (still better than letting them expire) but it seems you do not have much time to find such a buyer if they expire this weekend.

Have you noticed if it is the usual bidders willing to pay more, or it is because there are more players entering the market?

Perhaps a little bit more bidders, but I see the same names bidding up more. Don't want to reveal exact names, but a lot of times the same pair of guys who bid $109 a month ago on a domain now bid up to $150. Of course I cannot know if they found this domain more valuable or not.

Have seen some cvcv.com (without 'anti-premiums') sells there for 300-400$ but after checking whois it looked like original owner renewed it !

Looks like I might be holding onto the 20 quads I was about ready to auction off. If these $200-$250 prices keep up, we might see some nice names coming back up for sale that people have been holding onto for the last 2 years.

yeah, there is no good reason to sell your quads lower than 200.
