How to push a domain at Name.com

Hi,

I recently opened an Account with this registrar to reduce my costs and maximize my margins with quick flip 2-5 x reg. fee domains. Anything to reduce the effects of eBay and PayPal fees.

I can see where the push is carried out and get the following prompt:

Transfer to someone elses account using their account code

Is their account code simply their Username or is it something else?

The Name.com control panel seems kinda clunky. I don't see a bulk NS entry tool and I must manually delete the four default nameservers for each individual domain to be able to enter more. Or am I missing something?

Rep given to those that help.

Many thanks,
Matt.

Hi Wordsworth,
If the push is from one Name.com account to another Name.com account then you will need the buyer to give you their Account ID, located below the "Hello, username" on their account homepage.

As the seller:

1. Log into your Name.com account.
2. At the "Hello" page, click on the transferring domain name.
3. On the "Manage domain name" screen, select the "Account Transfer" or "Bulk transfer names from this account to another Name.com account" option.
4. Enter the Recipient's / Buyer’s Account ID, checkmark the applicable contact types, and click "Submit."

More info can be found here.

As for the nameserver question, I believe you do have to manually delete/change them for each domain.

Good luck.

Thanks very much for taking the time to help with such a good post. I can see the code now, immediately below the list of domains in my account. Rep added.

Matt.
