The disgusting GoDaddy Auctions API issue

These are very true concerns. I have had countless closeouts not even make it to my cart with immediate action on my part. The problem is if we bid there is a great chance that another customer will bid it up over a $100. If we try to catch them quickly, there is at least a small chance they...

Popularity of "hub" domains

I recently sold HatHub.com and it was one of my better sales. I’ve sold several other hub domains over the years. The hub domain I still have with the most potential in my opinion is SlotHub.com. Other hub domains in the portfolio I think have a decent chance to sell over time include...

question Are 4 letter alphanumerical .com domains worth anything?

Nazop, I am bullish long term on 3 number followed by 1 letter or 1 letter followed by 3 numbers, as they are much rarer than the 3 letter/1 number domain alluded to in this strand. Reason being rarity. There are close to 200,000 3 letters followed by 1 number and the same amount vice versa. If...

Thanks, I have actually sold like 10 villes in the low to mid $x,xxx range over the years including DramaVille.com for $6,975, which is similar to FilmVille.com, but in my opinion, not as good. Time will tell, but I believe $299 for FilmVille.com was a steal.

discuss Calls from India

When they call, I flip the table and say.. "You called to buy a domain name for your web development company? We have great domain names for just. a few thousand dollars." I keep pushing that and they hang up. The calls have been fewer since flipping the sales pitch to them. I don't let them...

sales s138.com sells for $4,000

Hi London. I am not sure there is one market place that is better at Chinese sales other than the ones that are in China. I list mine of GoDaddy, DomainNameSales, Sedo, Afternic, and Flippa. Out of those, I have the most luck with Domain Name Sales and GoDaddy. Domain Name Sales because I am...

Without researching how many extensions are registered/developed I’d personally prove it at $888. If other extensions are developed perhaps higher.

Thanks for the comments ExploitOdds! I agree with the domains you like. I am actually a teacher, so the niche is important to me and I actually had an international teaching job in Greece.

Great sale! I was thrilled to win the Li88.com auction a couple weeks ago. Only Wang is a more common surname than Li. I will hold this long term and wait for the right buyer. I have many other 4 character domains I can try to sell in the meantime. I’ve seen a steady interest growth in these...

China and Domain Names: My Prediction for 2016

As per my last post in June, I will double down that b168.com was an outstanding purchase, as a very similar domain name, m168.com sold for $6,000 on Sedo. While, I would think buying a that domain for that much would be a mistake for an investor, the end user got a deal. I was in China a couple...
