There are a lot of bad names out there. I'd enjoy a site where users could submit names and we could vote for the worst names. :)

You could try developing the asus site into an advertisement free information site. With no profit, you're less likely to be dragged into ICANN court. A site with original, helpful content could link to a site(s) that does earn a profit. That would give that site some potential value.

eBay got bit in the butt a few years back for having a "buy it now" button on their listings as some other website had planned to have that as a button, once they finished reading html for dummies. eBay ended up settling that lawsuit. I don't think you'd be in danger for using that...

GoDaddy Sale Commision Rates

30 days does suck but if you know that going in then you can be prepared to wait. Luckily I'm in a situation where when I sell a $xxx domain, I am fine waiting 30 days and although I lose out on $.xx in interest, I survive.

Are forums and blogs losing importance due to the increase of social media?

MySpace would have survived were they only willing to put in the effort to fix their forum groups. The spam there was horrible compared to facebook, but there were some growing and blossoming communities in the MySpace groups. Unfortunately the forums were buggy and after so many years they...

Man some of these domains sell at prices I just don't think I'll ever understand. 26k for sellcar.com? I realize it's got 2 popular keywords but "sellcar" doesn't exactly have an exciting brand name sound to it. A StarGate alien villain? Sure. 23k for Helppy.com? Really? lol I would...

ICE claims all .com/.net in US jurisdiction

The problem is beauracracy is slow. If ICE decided to shut down GoldenPalace.com or another site even if only for a week or a month, the damage could be permanent.

Established Due to a change in the law I have to get rid of these 10 AMAZON AFFILIATE SITES today

For the autographed books site, it looks like it's just showing regular books. When I click the subcategories on the right, it still shows the same search results as the main page.

gogoal.org $0 gogoal.com $0 Back in the 90s people were buying up lots of go<noun>.com and go<verb>.com names as well as goto<noun>.com. As far as I know, all of those names flopped. Even go.com ended up being snagged by Disney.

social.com sounds like the kind of place parents of unpopular kids would force there children to go and mingle. The beauty of names like facebook, myspace and hi5 are that they are sly about their purpose.

1 of the Fastest selling domains of all time .so?

I'd worry more about lack of interest than government instability. On another note, could .so mean software? I know vg can be video games. I read a while back that domaintools was originally whois.sc and that was intended as source. SO seems like a good extension for software.
