.tv Google trends - .tv searches rising

Hi folks, I haven't spent much time on this forum lately, so please forgive me if everyone else already knew this ... ... but I just discovered the "Google Trends" site, which shows the volume of web searches for various TLDs. Of course, .com is dominant, and .net is a strong second...

Bad way to do business?

I made an offer to an NP member for a domain, and he accepted it. Then he didn't reply to my next PM. The next day, I saw him advertising the same domain at DNF. When I PM'd him about it there, he said, "I am not using Namepros any more, because i got a Negative Itrader which I didnt deserve...

The LLLL.com sales and discussion thread

Actually, it's against eBay's rules to have a "choice" auction. (Look at this page.) If somebody reports that auction, forget about it.

various Report Completed Domain Name Sales Here

Wow - I just noticed that this one made the ".Com Supporting Cast" list in the current DNJournal domain sales chart. This is my first sale ever listed in DNJournal - I guess I'm in the official Big Time! ;)

Wow.. I just picked up a dictionary word .COM

You can find plenty of other "esoteric" dictionary words available, since most domainers see little value in them. For example. this link at SaveSpell.com shows dictionary .com's that dropped recently. Maybe you will find some more that you like. (Arundiferous.com, anyone? :) ) Good luck, Dave

The Launch of Modern Domainer Magazine

Modern Domainer - to distinguish us from the ancient/medieval domainers? ;) Anyway, looking forward to reading it. Thanks!

Question on Sedo...

When I register a domain, I typically have to wait 2-3 days before submitting it to Sedo, or else their system can't confirm me as the owner. I don't know why the lag is so long. At worst, you'll soon get an email from them asking you to prove that you own it. You can either send them an...

domain cesium.info

Cesium doesn't have widespread commercial uses. However, it sounds like something that lots of students would be writing reports about ("Choose an element, kids!"), so you could attract some worthwhile traffic if you developed it with that audience in mind. As is, I'd say probably upper $xx...

LLLL.com pronounceability guide

They are pronounceable in the sense that quph is one spelling of a Hebrew letter; qaph is a spelling of an Arabic letter. That should create a market for them. I like qoni only because it reminds me of my favorite musician, Joni Mitchell. ;)

Top 50 Most Searched Terms

Yes, agreed ... and I'm glad you mentioned that. It reminded me of a domain I parked a while ago at Sedo, prepubescent.net. I reg'd it mainly to keep it out of kiddie pornographers' hands, and I assigned it porn-free (and even anti-porn) keywords and categories at Sedo. Now, I just looked at...

available Recent .com & .net drops

Thanks for all the rep, guys. About 25 of these domains have now been registered, and some of those people surely found them by looking at my list. But I have received a total of 10 NP$ (donated by one person). That's why I don't make these lists too often, and why you will probably have...

How sickening: Another eBayer trying to make money off tragedies

Hey, on a related (and more positive) note ... In a recent bulk purchase, I picked up some domains I didn't especially want (but they were already in the set that was being offered). One of them was September11th.biz. (This term is reg'd in about a dozen TLD's; "biz" is kind of an odd...
