domain Attainable.info & Deducting.info

I was thinking Attainable.info is almost as good as Attain.info, before Microguy made his point. And that both would go for low to mid $xx. I kinda like .info personally though, so maybe I'm looking at them through rose coloured glasses a bit ;-)

I think the concept of having domain content stored in DNS is brilliant. Once it is expanded to cater for more data and additional functions I can see .tel getting widespread traction even outside the business sector. It makes a whole lot more sense than the .mobi concept to me. People...

What do you consider an old domain? And what is your oldest?

I agree there isn't an obvious reason I know of why a domain investor would care too much, and an end user who wants a particular name wouldn't care either. But when I develop a site for resale, old domains make them easier to flip. So the age makes a difference to me as a buyer sometimes.

dumbest.info - useless facts website

I like the idea of adding a rating and toplist of trivia on the site. I would try and make it a 1 click, rate and move on to the next item, system like hot or not sites use. You could also add a comments box under each item, maybe using the simple disqus.com system.

I agree that domains were not a commodity like now much before 2000. I recall a domainer named Webfather that was spruking up the domain investment and erealestate business in the late 90's and was ignored by a large majority of "Ontrepreneurs" of the time. I guess he would still be around...

I think many businesses who would have thought of themselves as local only a few years ago now see international sales as an important sideline. lots of businesses do want a ccTLD, but almost all of them would like the .com as well.
