.online .online nGTLD

What I like about .online is it looks and sounds premium, brandable and fits anything. IMO Radix should buy out the .onl registry (it's as good as dead) and somehow make it possible for us to just type .onl to get us to .online. That would be a win-win solution for everyone.

discuss .online domain names value

Just regged another 34 llls, and I think Im done. I would have regged 35, but Chinese beat me to that one name lol. There are still around 4000+ llls available as of this writing. Thanks to @Jacks86 for providing me with the list, very appreciated. Back to the cave I go...

Flippa and his curious solution

Flippa is my least favorite place to transact domain. I feel like they are trying too hard sometime to be awesome and cool with their platform, however you can always feel there is always this disconnect between their process and their customer support. And while Im at it, I also feel like they...

news China's Latest Craze .... Short Domains

Wu Maoqing, a 32-year-old banker in Beijing, lost so much money in China’s stock markets last summer that he describes himself as “scarred” by the experience. But in October, he discovered a new asset class he hopes will help make the money back—short domain names. Since then, Wu has invested...

Just regged 10 more 3l domains. It looks like .online is growing by around 500 domains a day. Im sure it will slowdown after all the short and catchy ones are gone.

discuss .GDN coming soon...

Some of the new gtlds are complete nonsense in my opinion. Some are very nice, but most are junks. gdn as in generic domain name? Any case, Id say this is one of the bad ones.

poll How much longer will we see big sums being paid for domains?

I had the same thinking 10 years ago thinking there was not big enough money in domaining and all the very good names were gone, so I moved on to other areas to make money. The market is way more open now and i would say more fluid too, also thanks to the Chinese flooding the market lately...

I was able to register a dropped 3L like a week ago, but yes most of the nice ones are being auto-reserved by Radix and some are being grabbed by Chinese registrar who is using script (I have no proof but Im dead sure).

Try to stick with the very short ones or the very good one worders or the SUPER tight left right combos. Anything outside is going to be very tough to sell. Imho.
