There are two crazies at both camps, it's not hard to spot them... Im convinced they are mostly new to domaining and get too attached emotionally. If you have to stick to your camp like the iphone vs android fanboys, you are just clueless... A sound domainer would understand .com is still...

Just my humble opinion, but if you have to convince them, you are playing underhand. It is okay to pitch the obvious, but afterwards I just let them take their time with decision. I agree with someone who said being honest and clear, it always works.

.web will just be another ntld, it will need much luck & marketing to gain real world traction. There has only been politics & hype surrounding it so far. Is it a bad extension? Not really, but it's not great either. To make sense of it, simply test it out Cnn.com. cnn.web. cnn.online...

So i tried to transfer like 6 .online domains from GD to HG to no avail. their order page just wouldnt go anywhere when I hit submit. Tried this on both firefox & chrome. Meanwhile 1&1 is offering $0 .online transfer, very tempting but I think I'll save my self the headache to have to deal...

Is Domaining basically one giant pyramid scheme?

You may need to rethink your game. If you have good names, you will make money. If your names are lousy, you will make nothing. As for keyword domains, if you have bankloans.com, vegashotels.com, dogtraining.com, you will make money, good money.

How are you with your domaining? Id say if you have a good amount of money and some knowledge starting up , you are likelier to make some money. It is definitely no pyramid scheme, but it is not for everybody.
