    Take a look at some wordpress or joomla tutorials. You can make a website with little or no programming experience. Once you get them up, its easy to keep adding to them, and they almost always do better than a parked page.

    JoomlaShack has a couple great templates. I like JS_Jamba the best due to its good module positions and different color schemes.

    Yes LinkShare is a great place for affiliate programs. Ive applied to several there, as well as with ebay partner network for niche store ideas.
