Sedo intentionally dropping parked status ?

To avoid the $50 minimum commission on lower-priced BIN domains that don't get much traffic.

That exclusion was not mentioned in the Details for codes applied in the cart. What did happen is that upon checking out using In-Store Credit, the screen right after "Secure Checkout" (with the Access Code CAPTCHA) says: "Payment method not allowed for this basket Please click here to go back...

I was able to squeeze some 98 cent transfers through on Friday and bag a 98 cent domain. Support was helpful in getting me the deal, even though their system had been too overloaded to process it. (I had the items in my cart and was trying to pay, which I regarded as acceptance of their offer...

What email to use

One concern with using an email address at the domain for sale is that you will lose access to that address when the domain is sold, and any late responses from other prospects will go to the new owner.

Park Managed @ Bido

I've listed some domains on Bido and don't park anything there. They suggested that I point the purchase contact link at my regular parking service to the Bido page for the domain. (Too bad they don't offer a more coherent purchasing experience for end users, or I would do that for some domains.)

How good is NameSilo?

Based on this thread, I decided to give them a try. I've registered a few dozen domains there since last month, and am liking it overall. Like others have said, it would be better if they offered email forwarding. It would also be good to optionally have working, spammer-resistant email...
