iPage lol your gonna make me commit suicide

Such as? I'm not a heavy user of control panels, but I can't say I've had any trouble with lacking features at iPage. They're a bad host (poor uptime etc.), but the control panel would be very low of my complaints.

What hosting should I get for my wordpress site?

And getting more sluggish as time goes on - at least in my experience.

How did 1and1.com wipe their BBB rating?

Maybe they're under review. It would be quite suspect to let them have a clean slate (though, I suppose, anything can be done with money or with lawyers). Assuming they got one, it will be quite interesting to see if they can keep a clean record this time around.

    Free Host

I know of at least 2 really big free hosts that have stopped providing that service. One would be Geocities (owned by Yahoo) and the other Netfirms, which has recently been bought and then notified all free hosting users that the service is gone. I'm not really sure there's all the much demand...

Domain Registrars and hosting for live site

I'm using Namecheap for domain registering and Hostgator for hosting too, and I've been happy with them for what must be 6 or 7 years now. Namecheap usually has some coupons available out there, that can save you a dollar or two on new registrations or transfers...

    Please translate Hostgator response

You can use a service like http://www.zoneedit.com/ to get a set of nameservers that you can then use to point your domain to Hostgator. (You create "A records" that point to Hostgator's server IP.) Many of the questions you might have regarding the DNS system should be answered at...

    GoDaddy Hosting problems intentional?

Server performance issues at Godaddy have been, for me, a feature in the last half a year or so. They were never great, but lately they've been outdoing themselves. Which is their job to fix, and in fact, to not let it happen in the first. However, I doubt this is an intentional tactic...

Suggest me a Best Web Hosting Provider

Out of those I have experience with Godaddy and Bluehost, and frankly, I wouldn't use either for an ecommerce website. I haven't used Hawkhost, though, I've read good things about them over the years. They're a much smaller host than the other 2 you mentioned, though it seems to work to their...

    Bluehost/Hostmonster buyout

I first heard about it back in November I think, when the deal took place AFAIK. In that sense it's not "news", but it has only recently been confirmed.

    Bluehost/Hostmonster buyout

There's talk (and an apparent employee comfirmation) that Bluehost has been bought by EIG (Endurance International Group), which also owns brands like ipowerweb, powweb, ipage, fatcow, among many others. It looks like the budget shared hosting market is almost dominated by their hosting brands now.

Best Web Host for a small business?

Hostgator has been way better compared to Bluehost/Hostmonster. I've used HG for what must be 7 years now, and Hostmonster for 1.5 years.

Buy a Ultimate Hosting in GoDaddy: Is it Worth?

In my experience, they're not all the same, even though they may be seemingly overselling similarly. Godaddy is definitely among the worst choices for hosting IMHO, and they've been getting quite a bit worse in the recent months. I'm sure you'll have a pleasant experience with them based on...

    Need some hosting advice...

Informing often takes the shape of instant account suspension, so I can understand the OP's worry. No, there isn't. Things depend on too many factors (hardware, software, database size etc.). The host may be able to help if you give them an accurate description of your site. They will...

    1and1 .coms - 4.99$

Most often I've heard of problems getting out of there/cancelling. I didn't go through that process yet, and I'm only using hosting there so I can't comment on their domain registering service.

    GoDaddy Loading Speed

My account with them has seen some downtime today (as it has seen quite a lot lately), but I didn't bother to check what's going on, or if their own site had issues. Perhaps the problem was network related.

    GoDaddy/Escrow

http://help.godaddy.com/article/1502 That seems to be a little bit weird, but it might explain why the money weren't sent to you. If the buyer failed to notify the escrow company, they're not verifying that the sale has gone through and you should be sent the funds (directly from Escrow.com...

Best shared hosting in Europe ?

Are you a customer? What domain are you hosting with them? In any case, they're barely 2 months old. Assuming you're a customer, stability is rather hard to judge so fast. Chances are it will take time for them to grow and really load up their first server.
