discuss Increase in cold calls?

Has anyone noticed a sharp increase in cold sales calls from 'web development' companies in the last month or two? I've been getting almost daily calls now, sometimes they even call me repeatedly. It's getting rather infuriating now and using whois privacy as a seller isn't an option.

Buy a good domain.....add an email account and use it to reach out to end-users?

I've used both options and had equal results. If your domain has interest to the end-user they will reply regardless of where the E-Mail comes from, it's just an e-mail address imho. It's the title & content that really matters. That said, if you're going to use a gmail/hotmail account only use...

Yeah, it's only when I register new domains. I laugh when i get spam emails about domains I sold the week before or something. Obviously they're using outdated data. Maybe next time I get a call from one of them I'll answer it but just scream continually as if I was being murdered and do that...

That's harsh to say they don't care. Flippa do read these forums, act on and respond to customer feedback. They seem very open to it too, what more can you ask for in a company these days even if there's room for improvement? As there is with most things. They nor anyone else can please everyone...

GoDaddy coupon limit

I've found it's best to wait a couple of weeks and then try again, as usually they recycle codes. I've used the same code more than once using this method but it may not work for all the codes. Your account shouldn't be flagged just for using codes, the problem occurs is when you shift domains...

48 hours of trolling and 26 solid domains (I think)

I'd agree, Movumo is by far the best of these. There is a lot for new domainers to process though, it's too easy to get excited by the buzz and register domains without understanding what makes them valuable.

Epik appraisal

Whilst I agree with rules #1 and #2 in part, it's not always true. Appraisal tools CAN be useful as rough indicators, you have to apply some logic and common sense to tell you if a domain has value or not. Human appraisals can also provide some insight, not to indicate a true value but to use...
