If a real estate broker did this, it would be unethical. It's all about being up front and disclosing. No seller would sell through a broker for half of what the buyer is paying. Any "broker" who does this is unethical.

I haven't said much, but I happened to see this pop up about keeping the name. The decision to keep the name was a poor one, IF the "new Epik" ever wants to be relevant in the professional domain investor space, or appeal to anyone who does their due diligence (checking reviews and Google)...

Yes, I confirmed via chat that they are only using NameLiquidate for expired Epik domains - with no way for a user to add their own - when I was trying to liquidate some of the names I had there. I really liked that platform and picked a few nice flips there. So sorry to see it go away.

I guess I should have said that, but for me, it was a given that broker transactions go through a third party escrow service. My current choice for escrow is escrow.com.

It was messing up a while ago and I switched to an Authenticator app. (Before people ask why I am still using Epik I have like 6 names there; one I bought on a payment plan over 2 years ago).
