news Emoji could soon take over domain names | CNET

Dude, you have to buy .ws to get in on this. Imagine pizza emoji .com Now imagine explaining pizza emoji .ws ".WS is the only Top Level Domain (TLD) accepting emojis." https://❤❤❤.ws/#tlds that right there to the right is the link to the gd page. Someone check on me in a few hours, I think...

new gtlds Namecheap drops support for .XYZ registrations and transfers

If I wanted to appeal to a sub 30 year old customer base with a service I would pick .xyz before .org or .net First step would be to try and buy the most premium .com that I could afford. After that .xyz is a nice alternative to speak to a new generation of customers. Remember, not domainers...

new gtlds Namecheap drops support for .XYZ registrations and transfers

@dordomai so google uses .xyz Which leading internet giant that literally controls the internet search industry uses .top Anyways, all domains in general need more public awareness to unlock the true value. Cheers.

new gtlds Namecheap drops support for .XYZ registrations and transfers

That wouldn't work well in my opinion. .xyz is way better than .plumbing In fact .plumbing on the side of a truck would just confuse the customer. www.BostonPlumbing.xyz would be easy to understand as it is clearly a domain name. Anyways, thanks for the reply. I think many local biz will benefit...

new gtlds Namecheap drops support for .XYZ registrations and transfers

@JayT Do you have any idea what one customer acquisition is worth to a plumber. Boston has millions of people and hundreds of plumbers. If you owned a plumbing business in Boston and were starting out online with a low budget under 5grand what better name could you find? Guessing you haven't...

Are most SOLD domains aged ones?

Good call. A lot of it is patience. Last year we had one that went 15 years with no offers sell for a nice amount. It was from a project that never reached the launch stage and it certainly was cool to see someone need it all those years later. Best of luck.

discuss Domaining might be banned because IT is not FAIR.

So this person thinks real estate is unfair, business is unfair, property rights are unfair, the free market is unfair, etc. The domain industry is one of the fairest and most transparent industries out there. Obviously this person wants to return to the feudal system, after all the massive job...

    Selling reputation for $100

When both parties agreed to the sale a legal agreement was reached. Another reason to have simple legal docs in place as well as an agreed upon payment period.

The LLL.com sales report & discussion thread

Why haven't 3 letter country codes had a small uptick yet? With 3 letter .com's so out of reach for regular businesses the 3 letter country code domains will have an increase in end users.

    Keywords vs Brand

So like, any strong brand should really own their keywords. Seriously, the look on peoples faces when you try to explain this is so "like...seriously" and it is so obvious.

discuss What is your opinion in xyz extension?

One Source http://domaingang.com/stories-and-manuals/abc-to-xyz-when-larry-called-negari/#top @Kate You are questioning the fact that the top internet company has put their holding company on .xyz domain as not a vote of confidence? discuss What is your opinion in xyz extension?

.xyz is a slam dunk. It has major retention with customers, a youthful appeal and plenty of selection. Seriously, if it is good enough for Larry Page & Google to invest $250,000 USD in abc.xyz than it is good enough for ANY company. That vote of confidence from the most important internet...

    discuss .online domain names value

Of course .online is a worthy investment...if you pick the right name for your site. Make a use case and find some that work for you. Not expecting 7 digit sales from the space right now. Who nows what 5 years holds? Search results haven't caught up to all the new tlds and more site build outs...

poll If you had exactly $2000 to spend on one thing today, what would you invest in?

Buy 10 domains diversified across hand reg., drops and premiums you can get a decent price on. Stick to something you know. Keep at least $500 and develop one of the domains into an ongoing site that you can grow into a money making investment.
