This person was looking to purchase a domain on behalf of a client, and then brought an offer. After I agreed to the terms, it became evident that the offer was not serious, since the buyer never opened Escrow to purchase the domain.
Its unfortunate that this person sent an offer on a high end domain without ensuring that the offer was serious/legitimate. They should ensure that they have a credible offer, since, to me, this person has now lost credibility in the domain space.
These sorts of interactions are what is wrong with the domain industry. I was very unhappy in this dealing, especially as I significantly lowered my asking price, willing to accept a lower price on this one word .com domain name.
Again, this person should have been absolutely sure that the offer was going to be honored before sending a message making the offer.
[I would be happy to share the discussion thread if need be to prove the interactions regarding the domain]
