Value of Domain Hacks

I'm open to offers. Meal services are a rapidly growing industry, as are online recipe directories. It's also convenient for using subdomains on it.

discuss .O Discussion

I tried replacing the O in the url with NL and it's an identical page, so it looks like it's default place holder info and an oversight that these pages would not apply to openic names, they may not realize it's even a 1st page google result for .o domain name and if it's not linked internally...

question What coronavirus domain did you register?

Wow yeah CoronaVirus.com reg in 2003! It would be odd to own a calamity name domain before it was a thing, a teeny tiny part would be like "oh yeah, I got a hit, corona virus is growing!" although I'd of course wish it was not plaguing the world. I once bought OilPlumes.com when it looked like...

domain UploadMe.com

NameJet capture in 2005. I've hung onto it while receiving a number of ~$1000 or less offers over the years and some asking price inquiries that I may have ignored thinking they would followup or make an offer per parking page instructions if they were really serious (kinda dumb approach in...

domain v6s.com

Update! Someone just purchased it from me via Afternic via fast-transfer where I had it listed since Feb 15th or so. Sold for the BIN $650, I get $500 after fees. I'm wondering if I should have priced it a bit higher, like $850, but hey maybe the reasonable price resulted in an impulse buy...

[Flash Sale] .com transfers for $6.99

Seems it's back up to $8.49 which still ain't too shabby, but silly me didn't realize the $6.99 was a temporary promo so I only transferred a few at the time and just went to do some more but missed the deal. Might the deal return @Makise ?

Thanks I appreciate the feedback (and any others very welcomed) as I will be counter-offering them in about 24 hours and this is one of my better names. I know how to do all the namebio and dotdb and other research, interestingly namebio shows impressive sales with the "me" suffix...

information Any stats on sales of undeveloped vs domains w/ backlinks?

I have a buyer interested in a name but is citing that due to the name not having any backlinks it's not worth as much as I am asking. They actually already and probably for the future will turn up first for this name in Google so it's not like they really need the back-links IMO, not sure if...

domain Get Meditation (.) com

I'm thinking it may be a good time in the current atmosphere for me to auction this name, what do you think it could fetch in an auction? Particularly wondering if it's worth paying extra to promote it more prominently in whatever auction platform I choose.

Apparently "Get" isn't too shabby as a prefix: https://namebio.com/?s==ETN3AzNxcjM However "meditation" domains are not exactly big sellers: https://namebio.com/?s==czN3AzNxcjM I'm thinking if I auction it on a platform, it *might* fetch a few hundred dollars and might not be worth my time and...

news Icann Verisign comment period on .com price increase

In my letter I mentioned the disadvantage to lower income individuals/businesses in regards to being less able to renew multiple years at the lower rate before price increases. The wealthier businesses can of course lock in 10 years on all their names at the low rate right now and see it as a...

domain v6s.com

I got it via Namejet in 2006, initially registered 2000. Obviously V6 is memorable and connotates power (but not as powerful as a V8, ha) Also Taken: .net, .org, .de, .info, .top, .cn, .ca, .cz, .cc I think the letters together look pretty cool vs others: v6s Namebio for V+NL: v2v.com 10,000...

domain pharisaical.COM

sure thing. Oh! how about a site with the definition at the top followed by memes highlighting hypocrisy as visual examples of being pharisaical, sort of how dictionary sites use examples of the word in a sentence. That in time might get some people sharing it on other websites discussing the word.

I'm not necessarily a pro-appraiser but have been domaining a long time and I have some feedback. This is an interesting name to me. It is hard to spell and pronounce for people not familiar with the word, and so has some challenges being brandable but at the same time the word looks kinda cool...
