Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

So how many Chinese died because of coronavirus?

That is not even close to 1 million.

This virus was never intented to kill the world. It is designed to destabilize the economy of countries.

End result? Global pandemic that will destabilize governments and ruin economies of countries.

Which ever country recovers the quickest will be the country that will have an economic advantage against the rest.

Will China start handing out low interest loans to countries affected by this virus?

I mean China can even wrap a loan as a form of "We're sorry to be responsible for this."

The financial suicide bothers me far more than the virus, there is nothing that can be done for a virus, it has to run its course, there are measures that can be done while this is going on to prevent financial suicide.

If a country were going to release a Bio weapon, wouldn't it make sense for that country to be the First one in and the first one out, So that why the rest of world is sick, the country that released the Bio Weapon is well so they can try and achieve their agenda of releasing the Bio weapon to begin with. Is it just coincidence that Wuhan China has the two biggest Biological Warfare labs in the world. some say the virus release was accidental, while other believe it was intentional, others see no connection at all and think the virus is just mother nature.

I am not sure I can agree with this. The virus is killing, the virus has collateral damage to our healthcare system as well. People are dying without contracting the virus, but can't get medical help. The damage is devastating. The lives lost can't be replaced.

People can build back wealth. Our economy can roar again. In life money is made, money is lost. Financial systems have nine lives. Although, the human lives lost are gone forever.

The problem is a virus, and nothing can be done to actually make the virus go away, it has to run its course and die off, I do hear you most defiantly, there is a good chance our hospitals will collapse and that there will be casualties of Heart Attack, Stroke and other illnesses that may not be able to get medical attention due to the virus illnesses, but ultimately, there is very little that can be done at this point, the virus has to run its course before it will die off.

So more importantly is for us to be fully prepared to take care of our families and friends and do not rely on the hospitals as much as we possibly can. we can only do the best we can through out this, knowing we will have victories as well as defeats through out this.

Quite an afternoon...heard the unmistakable sound of a car crash just down the road from my house just after we (dog and I) sat down under a shade tree.

Jumped in my car...saw air bags in a tree and a horn that would not shut off. I got to one car and the passenger wasn't moving...other vehicles still steaming. The local fire/rescue had just returned from a call and were cleaning the trucks about 1/8 of a mile away...a paramedic got there on foot before the trucks did. I put a blanket over the woman that was unconscious just as the paramedic got there. He said thanks and suggested I move back as there was the smell of gasoline. The rescue trucks were coming so I moved away as there was nothing more I could do.

Been in an 'informal' community meeting nearly ever since the local authorities showed up...time well spent.

Now...to answer your question. PBR stands for the best beer (one of the oldest) in America that is now the darling of some hip and cool types...it is Pabst Blue Ribbon...I've been loyal for decades...now because it is a 'trend' beer in some areas the price has gone up...bummer.

Thank you...I did not do much, but it is something in me...just cant resist the urge to help someone in distress...sometimes seconds count in accidents (I was cut out of an upside down car that was leaking gas on the vehicle and me by a homeless man that was living under a bridge...I never found him to thank him afterwards). I carry a basic med kit, rope, blanket and tarp in the trunks of my 2 vehicles...just in case.

Yes, that is something that seems they may be working on. They have been preparing the public to be able to handle that type situation. If they did that from the start people weren't prepared to accept the truth....Part of the problem we are facing is the public, for the most part, is unable to handle the truth.
