McClatchy news, the 3rd largest news agency files for bankruptcy after congressman Nunez files lawsuit for misleading the American people about the fake Russian Dossier.

You're mixing up a bunch of unrelated information.

The bankruptcy filing is unrelated to the lawsuit - it stems from some poor business decisions they made a while back. Among other things, their stock dropped like a rock about 15 years ago when they bought Knight Ridder, assuming a massive amount of debt. With falling revenue from print media, they never recovered.

The lawsuit is about snowflake Nunes, the guy who sued a fake cow, claiming defamation because the Fresno Bee (covers his congressional district and isn't afraid to call him out - he's been trying to discredit them for years) published a piece about a server on a Bay area cruise suing HIM because there were executives from his winery on board and the server claims there were also drugs and prostitution happening.

Nothing to do with any Russia investigation or dossier. Just Nunes, who calls his lawyer if someone gives him side eye, being Nunes.
