Hi Npers.
Well few days back i reported my first 5 fig sale of Fiku.com & here one nper @Coinking @mani0307 both ids are belong to him
he keep sending me message this sale is fake .. and asking me for proof i asked why do you think sale is fake??
he said he dont but his some friends asking for proof . i said i gave proof to Namebio so afterward reply from him is namebio sales are fake.
then after 2-3 days again today he said please send me screenshot so i can understand u r not faking.
and he will expose the name of person who is asking him time by time.

in the end i sent him screentshots and he agreed i was not faking
and then he said i cant reveal the name who were asking me .SORRY he will be angry with me..

My concern is do here alot of domainers do these kind of cheap things? or m i only one who experienced it?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
send proof to namebio , dnjournal and ignore all others that
Curiosity kills them

Why do they care and why do you have to prove?

Why did you even bother to respond, you know you sold the name.

I think as a NPs community we should do what we can to oppose the negative baseless claims of fake sales by a tiny minority.

I very much trust the veracity of sales reported in NameBio. If someone has legitimate knowledge of an error they should report it to Michael and he is diligent to make corrections when warranted.

I am sorry that you were (allegedly I guess to be totally careful) harassed in this way @Riz M. Going forward all of us should ignore such third party baseless claims of fake other than to give their posts a dislike or to report them.

I hope this negative experience has not too much tarnished your joy over a great sale, @Riz M. Congratulations!

Bob

Put him on ignore. I have dozens of NP'ers on ignore and am a lot happier for it.

I agree there are certain cheap NP members. The other day I was selling an LLLL dot com for $580 and one member DM me. I replied. He asked me my purchase price and I told him a little less than my asking price. I got it for some $415 and he then started saying I lied, I was not honest. Well, I had no obligation to tell him and if he knows, he had no point of asking. If he was testing my honesty as a seller, well... why would he want to know when he didn't even agree to pay my asking price, let alone started the transaction from his end (deposited money or something). Useless time wasters.

I sold it for mid $5XX few days later. Best reply is no not entertain such spam messages. They usually don't have good or at least useful intentions. By the way, I got 20+ positive feedbacks and no negative feedback even before that incident.

I dont ask people for their opinion about other people. If they irritate me or I get flak from them, I put them on ignore.

Focus on domaining, that's all that matters. Ignore the baggage!

I dont really understand why the hell do you have to reply or satisfy anyone. If the so called person feels its fake than he/she can do his own due diligence and report back...

There is just no sense in trying to keep anyone and everyone happy.

I receive plenty of pm to guide them about Geo domains and outbound. I ask them that you can check in forum and I have already shared everything i know or follow. In the end they would reply that kindly do outbound for my domain as I am unable to sell and I just put them in ignore list.

There is a very thin line between trying to be social/helpful and between entertaining nonsense from anyone.

Cheers and congrats again on your sale.

Don't worry about it. Next time, don't respond to such comments/requests for proof.

I don't think you are the only one. Some people (doesn't matter where they are from) are generally skeptical about huge domain sales. Even if you provide the proof, they still don't believe. So, don't give them any proof going forward, doesn't help.

Congrats on your sale.

Losers are people who want to know what other people are doing and not focus on their own business.
- How many names do you have
- What will you be 5 years from now
- What is your good name
etc.....

If you get stuck with this BS, you wont be able to move ahead. You shouldnt lose focus.

There are some unsuccessful people out there who will always say that a person is posting fake offers/sales but they are just some useless bunch and they shouldnt matter to you. Keep up!

If he starts bad mouthing you here, we will all complain and get him banned or restricted. But if he is bugging you privately, just ignore or block.

ps - I just checked and I already have @mani0307 on ignore . :-P

Report him to Namepros before ignoring though!

Ignore people like that and block them. 😊

You definitely need to develop a thicker skin, Someone gets on your case and can't let go, laugh it off, certainly don't respond. Your just feeding their baiting obsession.

If you can't deal with the idiots, how are you going to deal with a more serious (probable cause) complainer/moaner
