The reason I do this is as follows. Say a very experienced domainer or investor sees a name in this thread .. they will form an opinion on the value and price.

If you state the price, you are starting a narrative as to the value. If they click through, there is a chance that the price could be well below the what they think it's worth. On the another hand, yes, it could be annoying to have to click through for the price.

How the investor could find his interesting name in this forum? It is very little chance that any investor will look through all pages in this thread, as there is only logo posted, not domain name as text and it cant be indexed by google.
This thread was interesting, just for stats, just to see what kind of words in what marketplaces passes review, and for what prices. If there are only logos without other info, it is not so interesting anymore.
I get your point about price, I am about 15% agree on that, but some guys does not bother even to write marketplace... instead I saw a registrar today ... wow, that is really interesting info!

By posting here we are celebrating and sharing that step forward with like minded domainers. That is the purpose of the thread per the creator of the thread in his first post. Please have a look. This thread is similar to other threads where people post their recent acquisitions, hand-regs or sales. We are enjoying ourselves.
