Today, had to rescue a beetle from my kitty, relocated the guy to the backyard and commented to my cat we should put wildlife ear tags on them as there was another beetle in the kitchen last week, and wondered if it was the same guy. My kitty commented well was that George or Paul? Or Ringo? My cat has quite the wit.

One of these days we will change the name of this thread to: "People That Don't Give a Crap About Domining Anymore but still want to Be involved with NP"

Thought about getting a old "60's/70" but like @iowadawg stated...has to be a every day driver! The "classic car insurance"/price of gas/parts replacement sure doesn't fit into my budget
BUT this would be my choice (the first vehicle that I ever owned, 1966 Chev 1/2 ton)

Wife does not like driving on the interstate, one daughter no insurance and her roommate has no license.

So told wife, think I will stay home because she can do the driving...
Reason for this....

Until wife told her the other reason I did not want to go....

Daughter agreed that may be a valid reason to stay home.
Anyways, I got talked into going....
So will drive as much as I can....

While cruising the Black Hulls on my Indian, I hit a deer, and landed in a ditch, severely banging my head. I crawled out of the ditch to the edge of the road when, a very beautiful woman who asked, “Are you okay?”

Leaf blowers. Anyone who owns, uses, thinks of, looks or caresses one, instant membership to my "Blacklist of People Breaking the Quiet with their Lazy Contraptions" AKA "Noise Polluters".

Leaf blowers are good machines.
Easier and faster to blow grass, leaves, dirt, etc from walkways and driveways.
Plus excellent way to clean machinery of grass, dirt, etal.
Best to use on gutters.
And cows love to have a leaf blower blowing over them.

Legitimate usage where a good ol' rake and a little exercise can't be implemented, fine. But I swear, around my neighborhood, people sit the and blow their leaf blowers just for the hell of it. Literally. And then when they are done sitting, walk back and forth on their lawn with it blowing the leaves onto the street in double the time it would take to use a rake.

Keep the leaves, make a pile, let the kids jump in it. Use the leaves to fill up Halloween bags. Use the leaves to keep the area around your trees protected and nourished over the winter months. Keep the leaves to mix and cover your compost. etc etc
