DnBolt ranks for tons of BB names. They each get their own splash page, too.
Big difference is that his pages are not trying to sell other domains to you.DnBolt ranks for tons of BB names.

And he is stealing your leads...
Sorry, but I don't get this. How does it work? How can he provide discounts?
Exactly!
He says that so whoever will input their name, email and mobile etc. Then he has the details of someone that was interested in your name so he can contact them with one of his similar cheaper names.
It's not BB the company he has been ripping off for years, it's us.

>> We only refer to our own similar names if we can't get a deal from the BB seller.
@Dnbolt - proactively using said "leads" to ask BB members to break their listing agreements with BrandBucket?
Ok but I think he stopped @JimJammy? I can't see anything on dnbolt dot com.And he is stealing your leads...
61,000 of our domains listed on his site. You can see them here: https://www.google.com/search?q=site:dnbolt.com&oq=site:dnbolt.com&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58j69i59.1785j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8Ok but I think he stopped @JimJammy? I can't see anything on dnbolt dot com.

@Dnbolt - I am a little confused. Am I hearing this correctly? You are generating "leads" via landing pages that primarily contain scraped data and proactively using said "leads" to ask BB members to break their listing agreements with BrandBucket?
I have to say that's not cool at all, but I'll add "either". I'm absolutely not defending what you've alleged happens on DNbolt.com. I will say, however, that it's very hard to tar what DNbolt is doing, while at the same time remaining silent about BB's latest tacticsAnd he is stealing your leads...
It looks like all the names I removed in the past have been reinstated at BrandBucket, making them indexable in Google so that BrandBucket can use them to potentially grab my leads for their own inventory.I have to say that's not cool at all, but I'll add "either". What BB is doing is actually worse IMO since their landing pages very prominently promotes other inventory, and the intent of keeping these pages is absolutely clear. They want to profit off inventory that is no longer listed. They would never retain pages from sold inventory, as this might upset buyers.
The names which I paid to list on BB, and which I removed as per the conditions agreed, should not be further used without my permission. I asked for those names to be removed, and BB have now decided to reinstate them without my permission for the purpose of marketing their business. The conditions I agreed to did not grant this permission, and I'd rather my names not be used in this manner.
I'd expect more from Brandbucket to be perfectly honest. I think nearly all sellers would hold them to higher standards than a third party with whom they have no relationship. The final point I'll make is that this tactic looks rather desperate, and doesn't reflect at all well on their business.

Yes and No. An affiliate but not in the affiliate programme.
Keith, I don't think that what DnBolt is doing is moral, but it's nothing illegal also. All the names published at BB are public, it's the same as with the names from Sedo, Afternic and others. Everybody is using the domains names from each marketplaces to talk about them in blogs like dngeek or to publish some data regarding the domains. I don't think they need the approval from anybody, being public information, the only thing is that he is misleading saying that you could get an discount.DNbolt, You are making misleading statements.
There is no affiliate program at BB and there are no BB affiliates.
I double checked today with BB and they confirmed:
"DNBolt has never asked for nor has ever been given permission to republish BrandBucket inventory data on dnbolt.com.”
Furthermore, you are causing all BB sellers to be in default of their agreement with BB's terms for exclusive listings.
PS
There is a widget that any BB seller can use to display their BB listed names on their own website.
I use it at www.BrandTrapper.com. But that does not change the seller's status or provide any kickback or special benefit.
He is publishing our whois information.Keith, I don't think that what DnBolt is doing is moral, but it's nothing illegal also. I'M not a lawyer, but not including the misleading discount, I don't think that BB has a case against him. Let's change BB with Sedo for example. How can Sedo stop me if I wan't to talk about what Sedo sells and the whois information of each domain name. Whois information is public information, so nobody can stop him to publish anything that is already public. If he was revealing something that's under privacy, than this is another thing. Let say that I have a blog talking about brandables, including names from BB, BR, Sedo, Godaddy and others. Who can stop me to publish this names at my blog and talk about them, when this is already public information? Like this, if my seo is good enough, I can rank high for most of the names published by BB for example, and when a buyer will look for them using google, he could reach my blog before going to BB, so I could use this to get buyers for my names, it's nothing illegal. Nobody can stop somebody to use public information. Also, the price is public as well, even is they like it or not. Do you know that a lot of buyers from Sedo wanted to hide the price, but Sedo was charging for this? The purchaser could not force them not to publish the price but they could pay sedo so that the price will not be published. It's nothing illegal, just partly immoral. He is publishing our whois information.
He has openly admitted on this forum that he is scraping BB names in an attempt to get an offer on a BB name and approach the seller. That's stealing from BB in both senses (information and sellers).
If a name sells on BB, the name AND PRICE remain on DNBolt. The purchaser of that name probably doesn't want that information out there easily found. Who knows how much money DNBolt has lost BB in repeat business because of this.
He has also openly admitted on this forum that he is scraping BB names in an attempt to get an offer on a BB name... so he can push one his own domains at a cheaper price to that person.
Isn't it about time BB took some legal action @Keith DeBoer ?
Edited to add: Have PM'd you.
I would also note that similarly, BrandBucket has not asked for nor been given permission to republish removed BrandBucket domains on BrandBucket again."DNBolt has never asked for nor has ever been given permission to republish BrandBucket inventory data on dnbolt.com.”
