I thought I'd start a new break room thread. The great thing about this thread is you can say whatever the heck you want (except adult) and it's ON TOPIC.

All you have to do is post whatever is in your head when you are here. Simple.

Here are some acronyms we like to use:

YPSBT Your Post Sucks Big Time
YPITDB Your post is the dog's bollox
LPOD - Last Post of Day
FPOD - First....
SPOD - Second.
FPOTWN - Funny Post of the Week Nominee

Grace Delete / DefaultUser / WorldsWorstDomainer will personally thank EVERY SINGLE post in this thread UNTIL someone says something about post count and gets too obsessed about reputations and starts gaming the system etc.

And "Chain" is most likely short for ""blockchain"

So the starter castle they've been building next door to me is finally on the market: $840K, butt ugly, not a great location and looks totally out of place with the rest of the neighborhood. It was almost looking tasteful until they built this pretentious walkway and stone pillar entranceway... there is no place to "walk", the house is literally 10' from the street! You probably have to see it to fully appreciate, but it looks ridiculous. Real estate people took a pic angled upwards to try to make it look like it's set back more than it is.
I estimate their tax bill will be between $20-30k.

Grandpa Knocks Out Young Punk With One Punch
An elderly man knocked out a much younger man in mutual combat, a video posted to LiveLeak shows. “I’m gonna hurt ya,” the older man warns his challenger before the fight. And hurt him he did. All it takes is one punch and the other dude is on the ground. As the cameraman astutely observed, the challenger was in fact “knocked the f*** out.” If there’s one thing I’ve learned from years of watching low-resolution street fights on the internet, it’s that old guys hit like Mack Trucks.

This video is just further proof of that fact. It makes sense when you think about it. Back when I was in Boy Scouts, they wouldn’t let us play dodgeball because it was too rough. When this elderly gentleman was a teenager they probably had fights just for fun. I know which generation I’d bet on in a fight, and it’s not my own.

I might be gone for a few weeks, we must stop them to save the world. We knew the day they would start doing backflips, would be a turning point.

Experian leaks, Facebook Fake news, Google chewing up and spitting out everything they can.... this story really got me. I have read about and even experienced some minor similar things, but nothing to this extent. Small business is even becoming more of a war zone. This is the future when people depend on one sales outlet and a the FANG controlling everything and jealous criminal competitors. The world loves Amazon, such a success story... blah blah... lol. Attacked by a rogue known as The Virus of Amazon.

This is sad but unfortunately how business goes. I posted earlier in this thread how years ago I got into Wal-Mart with do it yourself shelves for closets. I think I lasted 9 months before my manufacture went behind my back and under cut me.
Wal-Mart didn't give a sh!t, their policy is "Get it as cheap as possible". Zero loyalty in the business world, where 3 cent in savings can put you out in the streets.

You got that right! It didn't look that bad until the pretentious stone pillars and sweeping walkway (all 10' of it - lol)
Interior looks ok. Huge kitchen.
Wait till the future buyers find out their deck overlooks the commuter train and the place where the town dumps dirt, leaves, branches.
Location, location, location...

I hope you did well for those 9 months! At least that is how I handled it before. I had that sort of behind my back thing happen several times. Also, brokerage agreements where promised finders fees and commissions never paid, too, etc. not worth chasing and negative energy instead of positive. All was Pre internet. I’d find a niche nobody else knew, but then various things would happen in the sales dept internally inside my suppliers company. Their sales Manager who wasnt self employed and as jealous of my volumes...would figure out what I was doing and they competed. I lost quite a few niches, but what did it finally was going behind me on a big $xxx, xxx. commission on this sort dishonesty. But thats life in the grand scheme of things I did very well overall and retired early because of it. So many things happened I’d rather forget them.

I guess the part of the spoofing and impersonating that occured was my shock in the story. Glad CNBC ran the story.

I think there was a 60 minutes show on a paint ball supplier really was an eye opener, Amazon did that to them what happened to you with Walmart.

I am still pretty incensed at the major platform being monkeyed around with and interjected my experiences in the Shill bidding threads a lot of stuff for the younger members to realize about how crooked the physical auction business is and it really torques me that certain domainer persons of questionable ethics continue as they are, some renaming collusion into a palatable word like “partnerships”, passing domains back and forth to inflate values, etc. I have seen all these side deals and all of the crooked stuff. It’s nothing new. My shock was how bad it has become online, at least you can see who you are bidding against in the real world.

Bwhhaahha that was priceless :)

The youngster prob been in a few scraps in school, beat up some sponge bob youngster like him and thinks he is a bad @ss. Problem is all his peers grew up wearing helmets, knee gaurds, elbow guards and suncreen just to go outside and ride their bicycle.. lol the old guy probably only ever used a helmet when he was taking enemy fire in a fcking warzone...lol not when he wanted to ride his bicycle

My area was kinda rural...before our weekly scout meeting we would play 'army' with bb guns. I was (and still am) the best shot of the group.

We were 'safe' though...most of us rode mini or dirt bikes and had helmets. After the first battle we decided that helmets were mandatory to participate but the rest of the body was out there to be targeted. Unknown to the others, I always wore long underwear underneath my jeans!
